After all these years we finally took a two hour drive and visited the Tongue River Reservoir. I love camping by water but Hubby had never wanted to visited the reservoir, that is until he had an appointment and visited with someone who had been there the week before and saw a baby antelope being born, a fox with her kits and baby Canada goslings. The gauntlet had been thrown down and off we went.
We did some hiking but the only critters we were able to find were many, many goslings. It was nice to camp on the waters's edge and the Canada Geese came and went all afternoon and into the next morning. Basically its a boat owners paradise but I think we could do some paddle boarding if we go another time.
