The Tiger doesn't want any socks knit for him and I was hesitant to knit Nephew Sam any because of that. Perhaps "cool" kids don't want handknit socks? So while on vacation I asked Sam if he’d wear handknit socks if I made him some. He got a big smile on his face and gave me a nod. We made a template of his foot so I’d know size then we talked color… he had no preference, so the first pair he gets is a bright orange pair!
Later when I told his mom about our conversation she told me he’d been wondering why he hadn’t gotten any when the rest of his family received them for Christmas and Birthdays. Won't happen again Sam!
