For the last week and a half I've been playing with this bootie pattern. I think that a little babe would have difficulty kicking them off their feet and they just look so warm! The booties would be a great little baby shower gift or charity knit, not to mention an outstanding stash buster.
Ravelry has several patterns listed; the original pattern, another pattern that has three sizes - newborn, three months, and six months, and last there is a pattern that knits the entire bootie without cutting and reattaching the yarn for cuff, instep, and sole. I have combined all three patterns. I don't claim it for my own but
this pattern is the pattern I will be using in the future.

I've knit through this pattern once in all sizes and would love to knit it through one more time before posting but I MUST finish the sleeves on the Tiger's Christmas sweater! So, dear reader, I will continue to knit the bootie pattern in all sizes on my lunch breaks for one final review. Please let me know if you find any problems so that I can make changes necessary.
Happy knitting!
